What's in the template

One row per player, with columns chosen so you collect everything at registration instead of chasing it mid-season:

The Excel version includes dropdowns for gender and registration status and a frozen header row. Two example rows show the format — just delete them and start typing.

How to use it well

A roster is a routine, not a one-time document. Keep this sheet as your single source of truth, update availability every week before games, and archive players rather than deleting them so you keep their history. The full system — squad size, depth charts, and the weekly loop — is in how to manage a flag football roster, and the exact roster-size limits by format are in flag football roster size rules.

When the spreadsheet isn't enough

Once availability needs to flow into your lineup and stats, a spreadsheet starts fighting you. FlagRoster keeps the roster, schedule, availability, and stats in sync automatically. Try it free for 14 days →
